Subprocessors
About this list
To provide the Service, Velira, LLC uses a limited set of third-party service providers ("subprocessors"). Each subprocessor may process personal information only to provide its service to us and is bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. This list reflects our current providers and is maintained as they change.
Current subprocessors
Plaid — bank and card data aggregation (read-only connections to bank and credit-card accounts, including American Express).
SnapTrade (Passiv Technologies Inc.) — brokerage-account connectivity (read-only, data-only connections to investment accounts: holdings, balances, and activity). Velira does not transmit, place, or route orders through SnapTrade or otherwise — no trade capability exists in the Service — and SnapTrade gives Velira no discretion or custody; you place every order yourself at your own broker.
Vercel — application hosting, serverless compute, edge delivery, and related infrastructure (including blob storage used for operational data).
Upstash — managed key-value storage and message-queue infrastructure (the operational cache/state store and the job queue used to schedule background work such as account syncs and briefings).
Anthropic — AI processing via API to generate summaries, projections, and coaching. Per Anthropic's API terms as we understand them, API data is not used to train its models.
Stripe — payment processing as merchant of record (checkout, billing, and sales-tax collection/remittance). As the merchant of record, Stripe processes payment-card and billing information as our card processor; Velira is the seller of record for subscriptions. Activates when paid plans launch.
Resend — transactional and account email delivery (sign-in, notices, receipts, and other account email).
Clerk — authentication and account identity (sign-in, sessions).
Sentry — error monitoring used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Cartesia — voice features (speech-to-text and text-to-speech). Activates only when voice features are enabled for a deployment; while voice is not enabled, no audio or personal information is sent to Cartesia.
OpenAI — OPTIONAL / DORMANT. An additional AI-processing provider that is not currently wired into the Service. It is listed here so that, if it is later enabled to generate AI content, its use is already disclosed; while dormant, no personal information is sent to OpenAI.
Paddle — DORMANT. A payment processor / merchant of record retained from an earlier billing design. Stripe is the active payment processor; Paddle is not in the live payment path and no billing or payment-card information flows to Paddle. Listed for transparency and reversibility only.
Additional aggregators — other financial-data aggregators may be added to support more connection types; this list will be updated accordingly.
Changes to subprocessors
We may add or replace subprocessors as the Service evolves. Where required by law or contract, we will provide notice of material changes and an opportunity to object as applicable. The version and date above indicate the current revision.
