Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation

You may cancel a paid plan at any time through your account settings or by contacting hello@velirafinance.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access until then. See the Automatic Renewal Terms for how renewals work.

A one-year term paid up front through Affirm financing (where we offer it at checkout) is a one-time purchase, not a recurring plan: it does not renew, we will not charge you again for it, and there is nothing to cancel — your access under it simply ends when the term ends. Any refund we issue on a financed purchase is returned through Stripe to Affirm and applied to your financing under Affirm's terms.

Refunds

Except where a refund is required by applicable law, fees are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods and unused time. The one-time white-glove onboarding fee for Velira OS is charged when setup begins and is non-refundable except where required by law. For the human-professional tiers (Velira Wealth, Velira Tax, and Velira Estate), which are billed as a flat annual fee, any refund of prepaid but unearned professional fees on cancellation is governed by your written professional engagement and applicable law (including the Investment Advisers Act rules on prepaid advisory fees); where those require a pro-rata refund of unearned fees, we will provide it.

Mandatory legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits refund, withdrawal, or cancellation rights you have under applicable law, and where those rights conflict with anything above, they control. Examples include consumer cooling-off / right-of-withdrawal rules in some jurisdictions and state rules governing prepaid services. You do not need to identify the rule that applies to you: contact us and we will honor any refund, withdrawal, or cancellation right the law gives you.

How to request a refund

To request a refund you believe is owed, contact hello@velirafinance.com with your account details and the reason. We will review the request and respond within a reasonable time.

Status

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is in effect and governs cancellations and refunds for every paid Velira plan, from the date of your purchase onward. It applies alongside the Automatic Renewal Terms and the Terms of Service.

As stated above, it yields to any refund, withdrawal, or cancellation right applicable law gives you, and to the terms of your written professional engagement if you are on one of the human-professional tiers.
