Automatic Renewal Terms

Subscriptions renew automatically

If you purchase a paid Velira plan, it will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (Velira plans are billed annually) at the then-current price, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize Velira, LLC and our payment processor, Stripe, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. The one-time white-glove onboarding fee for Velira OS is a single charge for initial setup and does NOT recur.

Paying for a year up front with Affirm (no automatic renewal)

Where we offer it at checkout, you may instead pay for a one-year term up front and repay Affirm over time. That is a ONE-TIME purchase of a fixed one-year term, not a subscription: it does not renew automatically, we do not ask you to consent to automatic renewal for it, and there is nothing for you to cancel. Your access under that purchase runs for one year from the date of purchase and then ends unless you buy a new term; we will not charge your payment method again for it. The full one-year price is paid to us at purchase through Stripe, and your repayment schedule is an agreement between you and Affirm under Affirm's terms. If we issue a refund on a financed purchase, it is returned through Stripe to Affirm and applied to your financing under Affirm's terms.

Pricing, billing period, and notice

Before you subscribe, we will present the price, the billing frequency, the fact that the subscription continues and renews automatically until cancelled, and any introductory or promotional terms in a clear and conspicuous manner, and we will obtain your affirmative consent to those automatic-renewal terms as a step separate from the rest of the transaction. After you subscribe, we will send an acknowledgment that includes the automatic-renewal terms, the cancellation policy, and how to cancel. We will provide advance renewal and price-change notices where applicable law requires them. Renewal charges apply to future billing periods.

How to cancel

You may cancel at any time, easily and online, through your account settings — using the same medium you used to subscribe — or by contacting hello@velirafinance.com. Cancellation is effective without having to speak to a representative or navigate retention offers you do not want, and it takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. We provide this simple cancellation mechanism as required by state automatic-renewal laws and the FTC's negative-option / click-to-cancel rule.

Refunds

Charges are handled as described in the Refund Policy and the Terms of Service, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Status

These Automatic Renewal Terms are in effect and form part of your agreement with Velira, LLC. They attach to your paid plan at the moment you complete checkout and consent to the automatic-renewal terms, and they continue to apply to each renewal of that plan until you cancel.

The disclosures described above are made before you subscribe, your affirmative consent to automatic renewal is obtained as a separate step, and an acknowledgment containing these terms and the cancellation instructions is sent after purchase. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not by itself refund the billing period already paid for, which is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy and by any mandatory refund right applicable law gives you.
