Financial Data Aggregation Consent

What you are authorizing

When you connect a financial account, you authorize Velira Finance and its third-party data aggregation providers (for example, SnapTrade and any other aggregators identified in our Subprocessors list) to access and retrieve information from that account on your behalf. This information may include account and institution identifiers, balances, holdings, transactions, and related details.

You represent that you are the owner of, or are authorized to access, each account you connect, and that you may grant this authorization.

Read-only access

Connections are read-only. The Service and its aggregation providers can read account information needed to display and analyze your finances. They cannot move money, place trades, or otherwise transact on your behalf. The Service does not take custody of your assets.

Credentials and security

Where an aggregator uses your institution login, those credentials are provided to and handled by the aggregator under its own terms and security practices, and are not stored by Velira. We encourage you to review the aggregator's and your institution's terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party services or for the availability, timeliness, or accuracy of data they provide.

Using your connected data

We use connected-account data to provide the Service to you as described in the Privacy Policy — for example, to calculate your net worth and performance and to power summaries and coaching. We do not sell this data.

Revoking access

You may disconnect an account or revoke this authorization at any time through the Service or, where applicable, through your institution or the aggregator. Revoking access stops future retrieval; it does not by itself delete data already obtained, which is handled under the Privacy Policy's retention and deletion terms.
